Ben Franklin Crafts Mask Making Tutorial

Since late March of this year our Ben Franklin Crafts employees have learned more about mask making than we could have imagined. We understand that finding a mask style that is a good fit for your face is important. Our personal experience wearing masks shows us that running errands can be very uncomfortable with a mask that does not fit well. Our Bonney Lake store has stocked our fabric department with 100% cotton, fusible interfacing and elastic to help our customers create masks for this pandemic.

There are many mask patterns available online right now, and we think this video tutorial with step-by-step instructions will show you how easy this mask is to make. Whether you are a sewing beginner, or someone who is skilled, this mask project will be finished in no time.

We have a great selection of high quality CDC recommended 100% cotton fabric with pretty floral prints, geometric prints, masculine styles, cute juvenile prints that the kids will love, as well as a large selection of solids. Our fabric is available by the yard or as pre-cut fat quarters. One fat quarter will make three masks. Since masks are a daily use item, it is a great idea to make a variety so you do not need to wash them nightly.

Stop by Ben Franklin Crafts and Frame Shop in Bonney Lake and we will help you choose all of the supplies you will need for your project. It seems that masks will be with us for awhile, and we are here to help you create them for your family.
