Our monthly luncheon provides an opportunity to meet other businesses in the same region as yours. We will have opportunities for you to be inspired and challenged here by top speakers.
THIS MONTH WE WILL HEAR FROM:
Since 1985, Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity has built or repaired over 270 homes in Pierce County, offering a permanent solution to a family’s housing crisis. Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to provide decent, affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income families in our community. By requiring partner families to commit sweat equity hours and pay a mortgage, Habitat offers families a hand up, not a handout.
On September 22, Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity is sponsoring the second annual Habitat Challenge – where 76 individuals will rappel 24 stories from the roof of Hotel Murano in downtown Tacoma, raising funds for affordable housing.
Learn more the Habitat Challenge, how Habitat for Humanity operates, and all of the different ways you can get involved with this organization. And at the same time, learn a bit about how to tell your organization’s story.
