BONNEY LAKE – The Sumner-Bonney Lake School District (SBLSD) will host a Grand Opening in celebration of the completion of the Bonney Lake High School new 552-seat Performing Arts Center (PAC). The free event is open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Bonney Lake High School campus, located at 10920 199th Ave. Ct. E. in Bonney Lake. The event will begin with a plaque dedication and ribbon cutting, followed by student performances at 5:30 and self-guided tours of the facility at 6 p.m.
SBLSD’s talented students will provide a sneak preview of choir, dance, drama and band that will regularly perform in this exciting state-of-the-art facility. Self-guided tours will showcase behind-the-scenes areas, such as dressing rooms, wood shop, back-of-house areas, and main stage elements.
We thank our voters for the passage of the 2016 Capital Construction Bond, which made this new Bonney Lake High School PAC possible.
